St. Lawrence offers a really good opportunity for students who want to study abroad. There are so many places you can choose from and they are open to pretty much anyone. St. Lawrence offers a lot of options, both on campus and nearby, from cities like Ottawa and Montreal to the wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains. One of the reasons why I wanted to come to St. Lawrence is the small class sizes. In many universities the classes are huge, with hundreds of students, and you have to deal with a TA (Teaching Assistant) if you have any questions--you never get to actually know the professor; here at St. Lawrence, however, the professors really care about the students and the classes are small enough (typically numbering in the teens) that there can be lots of student/professor interaction.
