Coming from far away in Georgia, one of my favorite aspects of St. Lawrence is the welcoming atmosphere. I find my fellow students and professors to be very helpful and enjoyable. Many of my professors know a lot about me personally, like the sports I play and the extracurricular activities I am involved in.
I have learned to love the snow! On weekends you can find me snowboarding, skiing, or snowshoeing.
Being on the tennis team has taught me new team skills about being part of a varsity
team in college. I've had the opportunity to travel to many other schools around New York and it has made me realize how glad I am that I chose this school.

Because of my desire to meet other students and be active in the school, I am the representative for my First-Year Program on the First- Year Council (FYC). FYC has allowed me to assist in leadership functions that have helped me meet new people and bring the freshman class together.
