Director of Career Services and Leadership Education (CSLE)
Terrence Williams joined the St. Lawrence community in the fall
of 2003. “I was seeking the sort of environment that St.
Lawrence offers both for my work and my life,” says Williams,
adding that he enjoys the pace of the North Country. “I like
the people I work with and the philosophy of the institution,” he
states. “I enjoy working with students and love my job. I
have the opportunity to help students build bridges of relevance
between what they are learning here and their lives after they
leave here.”
In addition to his work at CSLE, Williams is involved in various
projects in other divisions of student life. One, “Reclaiming
the Game,” an initiative started by President Daniel F. Sullivan,
concerns the culture of athletics at St. Lawrence. Its objective
is to open lines of communication between the administration and
varsity athletes. Williams has also presented programs at student
life leadership conferences.
