 Elizabeth Regosin:
Assistant Professor of History

Liz Regosin hails from Southern California. She joined the St. Lawrence faculty in 1997. She teaches in the First-Year program, and is a specialist in American history, especially African American history and American women’s history. Her area of research has been on African American families in the transition from slavery to freedom; other interests include American race relations in general.

“Professor Regosin’s enthusiasm and dedication to her students made her classes memorable, interesting and fun,” says Joe Gawron, a senior history major from Lancaster, N.Y.

“With its strong teaching mission, St. Lawrence feels like the perfect place for me,” says Regosin. “I enjoy the opportunity to interact with my students both in class and in a variety of ways outside the classroom.”
