I have gained a lot from my time here at St. Lawrence. In balancing
academics, sports, and leisure time, I have gained everything
a person can hope to from a college education. Knowledgeable
and concerned professors, small classes, and hard work all helped
me attain the academic credentials necessary for acceptance to
a top-level graduate program. I was able to continue my athletic
interests and play a varsity sport for 4 years, giving me the
experience of college-level competition, an activity that rounded
out my schedule, and the opportunity to meet some great people.
Of course, one of the things that makes St. Lawrence special
is the students. I have met many new people each year who have
made my time here everything that college is supposed to be.
I will leave with countless fond memories as well as many lifelong
friendships.
One of my fondest memories of St. Lawrence, however, is the
time I was able to spend on campus and on the tennis team with
all three of my brothers. I have learned a lot from sharing this
experience with them and have had a great time during the last
four years. As I leave St. Lawrence, I know that we are all closer
for our time spent together on campus and look forward to the
years to come.
