In the event of an emergency, Current or past Campus Alerts will provide timely information for students,
parents, faculty, staff, and other members of the University
family. It will be updated regularly as new information becomes

Emergency Response Team
If a major emergency--such as an earthquake, fire, or hazardous material accident--occurs,
a pre-designated Emergency Response Team will coordinate the University’s
response. All efforts are designed to protect students, faculty and staff.
The University is prepared to respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Emergency Center
The Safety and Security Offices in the Torrey Health and Counseling
Center are central location for the Emergency response Team. If
you have questions during an Emergency, phone x5555 or come to the
Torrey Center.
Emergency Communications
In the event of an emergency, regular updates will be communicated in several
ways:

*Sent through the campus email system
*Sent through the campus voice mail system
*Posted in all academic and residential buildings
