2007: Townsend had a strong sophomore campaign, as she played in 16 of the 17 games and started in 15 of them. She tallied two goals for the Scarlet and Brown, including the tying goal in the game against North Country rival SUNY Potsdam. The Hunterdon County, NJ native was rewarded for her efforts off the field as she was named to the 2007 Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2006: Townsend's hard work during her rookie season paid off, as the Hunterdon County, NJ native was given Liberty League Honorable Mention as a forward in her first year with the Saints. In 17 starts in the midfield, Townsend scored 4 goals and tallied 3 assists for 11 points, which ranked second on the team. Becca's clutch play is evident through her timely goal-scoring, as she netted a team-high three game-winning goals. Her hard work in the classroom was recognized when she made Dean's List during the academic year.

At North Hunterdon
Townsend had a fantastic career on the soccer field, as she was chosen First Team All-Conference in both 2005 and 2006. The North Hunterdon, NJ native captained the squad her senior season, and was both a four-year Varsity Letter recipient and the 2006 Irons Award representing the soccer team's Most Valuable Player. Townsend's efforts were also rewarded in the classroom, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the recipient of the Frank C. Cozze Memorial Scholarship. She is yet to declare a major at St. Lawrence.
