A two-sport athlete, Lucas competed on the soccer team and as a ski racer. She was captain of the soccer team in her junior and senior seasons and was an All-Coference player her last three seasons. Lucas was named Conference Player of the Year in 2007 and 2008 for her efforts on the field, and was a Journal-Sentinel All-Area Team honorable mention.
