2007-08: Zimmerman added a young, productive defenseman on each on of the ice for

St. Lawrence in her first year. Michelle was a staple on the Saints’ penalty killing unit and chipped in 11 points during the 2007-08 campaign. The Littleton, CO native’s biggest moment of the season came on February 1, 2008 at Cheel Arena in Potsdam, NY, where she scored her first collegiate game-winning goal against archrival Clarkson University.

 

 

 

 

 

Pre-St. Lawrence

Zimmerman played at the National Sports Academy, captaining the girls hockey squad in 2006-07. The Littleton, CO native was also named the team's MVP in her senior season. Zimmerman was a member of the National Honor Society, the Salutatorian of her class, and was the recipient of the Kodak Young Leaders Award. Born March 19th, 1989, she is the daughter of Rick and Mary Zimmerman.
