
2007-08: Weisz continued to serve as the primary back-up to Meaghan Guckian in her second year with the Scarlet and Brown. She extended her active winning streak to a perfect 9-0-0 through two years and contributed her first two collegiate shutouts agaisnt Providence and Union. Maxie set new career-bests in most categories, including minutes played, saves, save percentage and goals against average.
2006-07: Weisz served as Meaghan Guckian's primary back-up in her rookie season between the pipes for St. Lawrence. The Severna Park, MD native made four starts in 2006-07, winning each of the contests for a perfect 4-0-0 record. She earned her first collegiate victory on October 7th, 2006 in a 4-1 win over Wayne State. She followed with victories over Quinnipiac, Maine, and Union thanks to an .855 save percentage and a 1.50 goals against average.
Pre-St. Lawrence
A four-time All America and the Goalie and Player of the Year in inline hockey, Maxie Weisz will push for early playing time in net for the Saints, having compiled a 1.80 goals against average with a .921 save percentage in 34 games for the Washington Pride last season. Weisz backstopped the Pride to back-to-back appearances in the USA Hockey Nationals. Maxie also played for the Severna Park High School boys team, which advanced to the MSHL Championship game. The daughter of Nikki and Rene Weisz, Maxie was born on February 25, 1988.
