2007-08: Emard made an immediate impact for the Saints in her rookie season, landing both the team’s “Rookie of the Year” honor as well as a spot on ECAC Hockey’s All-Rookie Team. The Richelieu, Quebec native tallied 24 points on five goals and 19 assists as a first year student, finishing eighth on the team in scoring. Karell added great speed and talent to the third line, helping make her unit an offensive threat.

 

 

 

 

 

Pre-St. Lawrence

Emard earned All-Tournament honors at the Chowder Cup in Boston last summer, and had an oustanding career with the Dawson College Blues. With the Blues, Emard was named both captain and MVP of the team, but also earned MVP honors of the Collegial AA League. The Richelieu, Quebec native was the Female Athlete of the Year at Dawson College in 2006-07, and served as captain for Team Quebec in November 2005. Born April 18th, 1988, she is the daughter of Jean-Guy Emard and Josee Bessette.
