Carson Duggan '09

Forward

Ma-Me-O Beach, Alb.

Edmonton Chimos

2007-08: Despite facing the opposition’s top defensive players, Carson continued to perform at a high offensive level throughout her junior season. She finished fourth on the roster with 36 points and her 21 goals led the team. Duggan, who was second on the roster with eight power play tallies in 2007-08, also earned ECAC Hockey All-Academic honors for the second straight season.

2006-07: Though the expectations for Duggan were very high entering her sophomore season after she was named the conference's "Co-Rookie of the Year" in 2005-06, the Ma-Me-O Beach, Alberta native lived up to the hype, topping her numbers from a year ago. She netted a career-high 30 goals, which led the Scarlet and Brown, and tied her assist total from her rookie season (14) for 44 total points. She scored a pair of game-winning goals and continued to be one of the squad's most disciplined players, taking only six minor penalties. Duggan's success carried over into the classroom, as she was named to the ECACHL's All Academic team for the first time.

2005-06: Duggan made an immediate impact in her rookie season, leading the team in goals with 28. Her 42 points was good enough for second on the roster, and the Ma-Me-O Beach, Alb. native finished in the top six in the country in both goals scored and points amongst rookies. Duggan broke the St. Lawrence rookie-records for goals (28), multi-point games (14) and points (42) in the 2005-06 season. She was also able to net the only two hat tricks for St. Lawrence, including a four-goal performace against Union on Dec. 10th. At the ECACHL Awards Banquet, Duggan was selected as the league’s “Co-Rookie of the Year” with Princeton’s Annie Greenwood, and was named to the All-League Second Team and Rookie Team.
