Brittony was the starting goaltender for the University of Minnesota during the Golden Gophers’ run to the NCAA Tournament Finals in 2006, and she will certainly stake her claim to be the Saints’ starter to begin 2008-09. The Saskatoon, SK native, who recorded the first ever shutout in Division I NCAA Tournament history, posted a .908 save percentage and a 2.13 goals against average at Minnesota. Brittony will come into 2008-09 with a career mark of 27-13-2 (.667). She is a three-time member of the Canadian U-22 team and captured gold at the 2004 and 2005 Air Canada Cup in Germany. She also owns a bronze medal which she earned at the 2003 Canada Games with Team Saskatchewan. Born January 25, 1986, Brittony is the daughter of Tony Chartier and Sandra Goodman-Chartier.
