At Buffalo Seminary

Friedman was a winner of a gold and silver medal in the Empire State Games for rowing. She came in 3rd place at the Canadian Henley in 2004, and 4th in two events in 2005. She was MVP in both Varsity Crew and Soccer her senior year, and also captained the two teams. She was selected as 1st Team All-League for soccer each of her four high school years. Friedman is yet to select a major at St. Lawrence.
