SAINTS PARTICIPATE IN LOCAL

"MEMORY WALK"

Sept. 29: Several members of the St. Lawrence University softball team participated in the local "Memory Walk" on September 14th, which works to raise money for Alzheimer research.

Seniors Meg Richardson, Lilah Brown and Janelle Graves joined juniors Jennifer Girard and Molly Swan and sophomores Meg Goodemote, Erika Alvarez and Laura Byer in the walk which went through Partridge Run Golf Course. The players raised $329.00 in their volunteer efforts.

"I am very proud of these student-athletes for reaching out and working to make a difference," said St. Lawrence head softball coach Fran Grembowicz. "Despite having practices, school work and other commitments, they work to find a way to help in the local community."
