2007: In her first season with St. Lawrence, Atkins became the predominant starter in right field, playing in 28 games in 2007. She had 16 hits, ranking fourth on the team, and eight RBI's. She will likely see some time on the mound in her sophomore season, and will continue to add stability to the outfield.

At Doane Stuart
Atkins was a tri-sport athlete, participating in softball, soccer, and basketball. The Westerlo, NY native had an outstanding career on the softball field, as she was named a 2nd Team League All-Star and was the team MVP each of her last two seasons. Atkins showed great leadership qualities as she captained the softball squad her final three years. She was also a National Honor Society member and the recipient of both the Doane Stuart Award and the Attorney General CCC Award.
