Ted Turner

Ted continues his winning season with a sizeable first place finish at the 2003 NYSCTC Cross Country Championships. Ted led his team to their first ever team championship at the NYSCTC. The race was hosted by Rensselaer at the traditional Saratoga State Park. His time of 25:09 is certainly one of the fastest times ever run on this course.

Amanda Laytham
(SR-Ithaca College)

Amanda became only the third ever multiple NYSCTC Cross Country individual champion with her win at Saratoga. This feat ties Melissa White (Gen, 2001 and 2002 and Jennifer McNerney (Fred, 1989 and 1990). Amanda battled with Susan McWilliams of Oswego for much of the race before taking the lead in the final stages to match her freshman season 1st place finish at the NYSCTC Championships. She also led her team to a first place finish over top ranked SUNY Geneseo.
