Comments:
1. Ithaca College This should be another very good year for the Ithaca Women. They return their entire top 7 from the Regional Championship team (14th NCAA's) from last year and have added some good recruits.
2. College of New Jersey Lost some key performers from last years 10th place NCAA team but return their top 2 from regionals and have a number of good prospects which should make them very competitive.
3. SUNY Geneseo This may be a banner year for Geneseo and they will certainly compete for the Regional title. Led by All-American Melissa White (3rd at NCAA's) and Jen Rettke(7th at Regionals) they return 5 of 7 along with arguably the best recruiting class in the Region.
4. Hamilton Lost All-American Maggie Hanson but return Jenn Cammarano and the rest of a stellar group which finished 9th at NCAA's last year.
5. Cortland No report in as of this time but they have a new coach in John Crawford and should be returning 6 of their top 7 from last years 5th place team at regionals.
6. St. Lawrence Return 6 of the top 7 from last years team which just missed out on advancing to NCAA's. Still young but have added depth and a few newcomers, which should make them a contender by seasons end.
7. Plattsburgh Like St. Lawrence, they return 6 of the top 7 from last year's team and expect to be deeper this year. NCAA qualifier Amanda Jinks should give them some up front strength.
8. Rensselaer No report in-Return 5 of 7 from last year's team.
9. Rochester No report in-Should be a solid team with a number of returnees including NCAA qualifier Erika Wasserstein.
10. Oswego No report in-Came on strong towards the end of last year and return a number of solid runners.
