At North Yarmouth Academy

Preston was a tri-sport athlete, participating in Lacrosse, Soccer and Swimming. The North Yarmouth, ME native was an All-State Honorable Mention for lacrosse, was a two-time All-Conference selection, and helped his team to the Maine State Championship. Preston also served as captain of the soccer squad and was a State Champion and Senior All-Star for that sport as well.
