2008: Fresh off a very successful four-year career with the men's soccer team, Merrill will bring his athleticism and talent to the men's lacrosse team for the spring of 2008. The Kennebunk, ME native was All-State in lacrosse in his senior year in high school, and will add depth to the Saints' midfield.

At Cheverus High School

Merrill played soccer, lacrosse, and ran indoor track and was awarded SMAA First Soccer Team status in 2001, 2002, and 2003, All-State recognition in 2002 and 2003. Merrill earned the Soccer Sportsman of the Year Award in 2001 and 2002, as well as the Carrol M. Rhines Sportsmanship Award in 2004. Also notable, Merrill was All-State in Lacrosse in 2004. Academically, Merrill was a member of the National Honor's Society and was given the Golden Award for the Most Outstanding Student in Three Subjects. Merrill has been on the Dean's List at SLU.
