2007: In his sophomore season, Festa became one of the Saints' key defensive starters, starting in every game he played. The Auburn, NY native scooped up 19 ground balls, a new career high and 8th on the team, and was seventh in caused turnovers. Festa spent his fall on the St. Lawrence University football roster.

At Auburn
Festa competed in wrestling, football, and lacrosse. In football, he was the team captain, earned first-team all-league honors, first-team All-CNY, and third-team all-state honors and was named the team MVP. In lacrosse, he earned second-team all-league honors and was the captain.
