PAUL PHELPS - DEFENSIVE ENDS COACH

Paul Phelps enters his fifth season on the Saint coaching staff. In 2002 Phelps served as a defensive assistant before moving to coaching the defensive ends in 2003.

 

Phelps served as the offensive coordinator as well as the defensive and offensive line coach at Laconia High School in New Hampshire for 25 years. He coached in the New Hampshire/Vermont Shrine Football All-Star game in 1980. In the summer of 1992, Phelps also coached the defensive line for SUNY Albany versus International Team in Paris, France.

Phelps earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Plymouth State College. He resides in Laconia, N.H. with his wife Mary Lou.
