2007: Popov once again was the Saints' second-leading scorer with 37 points, finishing 22-of-23 on extra point tries and 5-of-8 on field goal attempts. The Syracuse, NY native earned Second Team All-Conference honors for his punting abilities, averaging 36.5 yards on 46 punts while tallying 15 inside the opponents 20 yard line.
2006: In his sophmore season, Popov became the Saints go-to kicker for field goal chances, extra points, and punts. He was the team's second leading scorer with 32 points, and was 23-of-27 on extra point opportunities. The Syracuse, NY native also connected on 3-of-7 field goal kicks, including a long of 32 yards. Popov also gathered an average of 36.5 yards per punt, netting 1,968 yards including a long of 64 and ten kicks inside the 20 yard line.
2005: Popov was a back-up to all-league senior Nick Little.
