A consistent contender for conference honors and a three-time post-season participant since 2000, the Saints earned a UCAA, now the Liberty League, tournament berth in 2003, Eastern College Athletic Conference post-season berths in 1995, 1998, 2001 and 2002 and were an NCAA Division III tournament entry in 1991.
The season traditionally starts with a trip to Ft. Myers, Fla., over spring break to take part in the Gene Cusic Classic where the Saints play 10-games over 10 days. Once returning north, the program has one of the toughest schedules in the Northeast, taking on UCAA opponents Clarkson, Rensselaer, Rochester, Skidmore, Union and Vassar. St. Lawrence also schedules tough non-conference games with regional and national powers Ithaca, Cortland, Oswego and RIT. The regular application deadline is February 15 with early decision dates on November 15 and January 15. The substantial cost of today's college education often prompts questions concerning financial assistance. St. Lawrence University competes at the Division III level (baseball) where athletic scholarships (grants-in-aid) are not available but many of our student-athletes receive financial assistance based on need. Applicants seeking financial assistance must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Forms are available through high school guidance offices.
