Updated Information

• The Mandatory coaches meeting which will be held at 8:00pm on Friday night has been moved to the Newell Multi-Purpose Room which is just down the hall from the main gym which was the original location.

• The Recognition ceremony which will be held in Burkman Gym on Saturday, will begin at 2:00pm rather than 2:30.

• NCAA Regional merchandise will be sold at the start/finish area on Friday and in a merchandise tent behind Newell Field House on Saturday.(will move inside in inclement weather)

• John Newman and I will be collecting $10.00/gender for your Cross-Country Coaches Association dues. These dues pay for the awards that we will be presenting on Saturday.

• The Games Committee will be drawing starting boxes on Friday night and will announce them at the coaches meeting. Committee members are Bill Fritz-Rowan, Mike Woods-NCAA Rep., Ellen Hull-Hamilton, Barb Hartwig-Rochester and myself.

• We will be providing pizza for all of your competing athletes as well as each coach following the conclusion of both races in Leithead Field House. Tickets will be in your packets for 7 athletes and 1 coach/team. Food and Beverages are not allowed in the Gym so please have your athletes eat in the field house prior to the awards ceremony.

• The National Anthem will begin at 10:45am on Saturday.

• Please remind your bus drivers to park in the lots across the street from the PE Center and the start area (J-Lot). This is the closest lot to the start.

• We will have an area in Leithead Field House reserved for Chip returns after the conclusion of both races. Institutions will be charged for chips not returned so please have your athletes hand them back to you so you can get them to the return area.

• The course is in great shape but as is the case in most of the Northeast, the forecast is for cold temperatures with highs in the mid-30’s on Friday and Saturday so please prepare your athletes.
