Community-Wide Accounts - Students A Community Wide Account (CWA) is a declining balance account that can be used for purchases at the Brewer Bookstore, at dining services locations, the Stafford Fitness Center, for vending machine purchases, purchases at participating off-campus vendors and for payment of miscellaneous charges on student account. Purchases from vending machines are limited to a maximum of $20 per day. The minimum deposit into a CWA account is $25 and maximum is $2,000. Cash withdrawals from the CWA account are not allowed. A CWA is automatically opened for all students upon enrollment and, once funds are deposited, they can be used to make purchases without cash at various locations. Students signed up for the 21-meal plan automatically receive a starting balance of $50 on their CWA in the fall semester. Student deposits may be made to their CWA by mailing a check with a completed deposit slip to Student Financial Services, Student Center 315, St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY 13617. The cardholder's SLU ID number must be provided to ensure that the funds are credited to the correct CWA account as quickly as possible. Additional deposits may also be made online with a credit card or by cash/check at the Student Financial Services Office and Brewer Bookstore. Please note that you will need to put two zeros in front of the identification number; i.e. 00607xxxx, for a total of nine digits. The terms and conditions of a CWA are listed on the deposit slip. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
