Safe Walks: A reminder that Safe Walks are available “24/7” on campus, and Friday and Saturday nights, 11 p.m. - 2:30 a.m., from downtown. Call 229-5554 for assistance.

Blood Drive: The students of Alpha Phi Omega (APO) service fraternity will conduct a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in Eben Holden. Sign-up is at the APO table in the Student Center Atrium on Monday, Nov. 29, and Tuesday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. You are eligible to donate if your last donation was on or before Wednesday, Oct. 6 (the last blood drive at St. Lawrence was on Oct. 5).

Marathon Training Group: An organizational and informational meeting for anyone interested in training to run a marathon or half-marathon, and/or in helping plan the Canton-St. Lawrence University Race Weekend (April 30, 2005), will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. in the Crandall Room of the Student Center. Lunch Bunch: Laurentian Women's Association Lunch Bunch meets one Wednesday per month at noon in the Eben Holden Conference Room. Remaining date for the fall semester is Dec. 1 (Please note change of date from Dec. 8); it will include the traditional Christmas gift exchange for those who wish to participate. Reservations must be made by noon the preceding day with Mickey Williams, 386-8781. Lunch Bunch is open to all women faculty and staff and wives of faculty and staff, including retirees.

Bookstore Visitor: Santa Claus will be at Brewer Bookstore on Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m.-Noon.

Parking Committee: The next meeting of the Parking Committee is Thursday, December 9, at 3 p.m. in Student Center 333. All are welcome to attend the committee’s meetings to discuss ideas and issues.

Retirees Luncheons: University retirees gather for lunch once a month in the Eben Holden Conference Room. Remaining date for the fall semester is Dec. 15, at noon; Thomas Coakley, vice president of administrative operations, and Sharon Pinkerton, associate director of human resources, will present an update on the University’s health insurance plan. Reservations must be made by noon the preceding day with Mickey Williams, 386-8781, or Wanda Renick, 386-3474.
