Assistant Professor of Experimental Economics

The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position in experimental economics at the assistant professor level beginning in Fall 2012.  Located in Northern New York, St. Lawrence University is an independent-selective liberal arts college enrolling approximately 2,350 students.  The Department of Economics consists of 10 members covering a broad array of fields.  As a department, we are committed to excellence in both teaching and research.  The economics department houses a small experimental economics lab and hopes to find an individual committed to outstanding undergraduate instruction and interested in pursuing research in experimental economics, including mentoring student research, in a liberal arts setting.  Candidates with an interest in game theory and strategic decision making, or interested in teaching in our inter-disciplinary First-Year Program, are particularly encouraged to apply.
