Outdoor Rock Climbing Progression

Come out and enjoy the quality Eastern granite in your backyard. The following courses are for those people who have never touched rock before to those who have experience and want to expand their technical skills and/or just climb. Courses will be run out of the Adirondacks, the Gatineaus (Quebec) and the Shawangunks with the possibility of a trip going out to Rumney, New Hampshire. Weekend progression courses include: Introduction to Rock Climbing, Natural Anchors and Rappel Techniques, Gear Placement and Artificial Anchors, Lead Theory, and Multipitching.

Introduction to Rock Climbing
Head out to the Adirondacks! This course will include basic rock movement (face and crack technique), knots, communication, and belaying. Emphasis is on spending as much time as we can on the rock, climbing.
