PRESIDENT EMERITUS PISKOR CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY, GETS KEY TO CANTON

St. Lawrence University President Emeritus Frank P. Piskor, at right in the photo, recently celebrated his 90th birthday. At a celebration held in his honor at St. Lawrence, President Daniel F. Sullivan, at left, announced that in recognition of his many activities in the community, Piskor will be awarded the North Country Citation from the University at Commencement May 21, 2006. Professor of Government Emeritus Robert N. Wells, center, the mayor of Canton, presented Piskor with a key to the village of Canton, and read a letter and citation sent by U.S. Senator Susan Collins '75 (R-Maine), congratulating Piskor.
