WORKSHOP IN REPORTING CHILD ABUSE & MALTREATMENT SET AT SLU

CANTON - A workshop on identifying and reporting child abuse and maltreatment will be held at St. Lawrence University on Tuesday, March 28, from 4 to 6:45 p.m. in Atwood Hall, Room 31.

The program fulfills the training requirements established for nurses, physicians, teachers, school administrators, school counselors and other licensed or certified professionals.

Information concerning physical and behavioral indicators of child abuse and maltreatment; the statutory reporting requirements of the New York State Social Service Law; and treatment and prevention topics will be covered.
