A 1970 St. Lawrence graduate has been named to The Los Angeles Business Journal's annual list of "L.A.'s Most Powerful Sports Executives." William J. (Bill) Chadwick '70, is a managing director of Chadwick, Saylor & Co., a real estate investment bank, and president of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission.

The commission is in discussions with the National Football League about bringing football back to the Coliseum. The Journal article stated that Chadwick's position as president "could give this behind-the-scenes player additional influence." He is also chairman of CS Securities, Inc., a registered broker dealer, and managing director of CS Capital Management, Inc., a registered investment advisor.

At St. Lawrence, Chadwick earned his degree in government and participated in the Thelomathesian Society, football and lacrosse. He was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honorary and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Chadwick was elected to St. Lawrence's Athletic Hall of Fame and earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1973. He is now serving his second term as a member of the Exposition Park and California Science Center Board of Directors.
