State Street Global Advisors

When a donor creates a gift-with-income plan with St. Lawrence, the university invests the gift with State Street Corporation.

State Street Corporation was founded in 1792. Today, with over 19,000 employees, it services financial assets worldwide, and is a leading custodian with over $9 trillion of assets under custody. State Street Global Advisors, a division of State Street Corporation, employs over 1,400 individuals in 29 cities worldwide, with over $1 trillion in assets under management.

All of St. Lawrence's gift-with-income assets are invested with State Street Global Advisors through their Charitable Asset Management group in Boston, MA. The Charitable Asset Management group, (a specialized unit dedicated to serving charitable organizations since 1984), currently manages over $2.1 billion in planned gift assets for over 23,000 donors and beneficiaries. St. Lawrence has invested its planned gift assets with State Street for over 15 years.

Currently, St. Lawrence has administrative responsibility for over 160 gift-with-income plans for almost 150 alumni, parents and friends. This represents just under $11,000,000 in investments, all at State Street Bank.
