Michael is responsible for managing the Library's System Office, the group that is responsible for making sure that our computer workstations and networked resources are functional and well maintained. Michael holds a B.A. and an M.A. in history from Pennsylvania State and a Master's in Library Science from the University of Toronto. His voice can be heard on North Country Public Radio on Friday evenings, when he conducts the station's "Folk Show" program. Michael is the Library liaison for the History Department and Slavic Languages.

Carol works with faculty and students in classrooms and in the science library's GIS computer lab, offering instruction and assistance with spatial analysis and applications of geospatial data, and coordinates the overall selection and organization of the libraries' geospatial data collections. Carol has a BS and MS in Zoology from University of Massachusetts and University of Vermont. Rhonda oversees Access Services, which includes the Circulation and Reserve Loan departments. She can help you with questions regarding your library account, placing materials on reserve, copyright, and stack maintenance concerns. Rhonda is currently involved in studying privacy and copyright issues. She has a BA in Anthropology from Binghamton University, a MALS from Stony Brook University, and received her MLS from Albany University. Paul is responsible for development and ongoing health of the library's web presence. This involves creating and revising pages, and assisting with the problem solving when issues arise with databases. He is one of the public service librarians, and questions or concerns about Connect NY or other interlibrary loan services should go to Paul. Paul has taught in both the FYP and FYS. He has a B.A. in English from Keene State College, and an M.A. in English from the University of Maine. His Master's in Library Science is from SUNY Albany. Paul is the Library liaison to the English and Speech/Theatre Arts Departments.

Michelle oversees acquisitions, collection development, and cataloging for the SLU Libraries. Michelle serves on the Academic Honor Council and the Middle States Assessment Committee. She has a BA in English/Writing and received her MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh. Bart is responsible for the overall coordination of the services and collections made available by the SLU Libraries. He has a B.A. from San Francisco State University and a Master's in Political Philosophy from the same institution. Bart's Master's in Library Science is from the University of Pittsburgh. His professional interests include the impact of networked information on the scholarly communications process and collection development in small and medium-sized academic libraries. Bart is the Library liaison for the Music and Philosophy Departments.

Robin is responsible for both the acquisitions and cataloging of print and electronic journal collections for the SLU Libraries. Robin has organized the Library's web resources relating government and statistical information, and so would be an excellent resource for faculty interested in including these resources in their teaching. His B.A. and M.A. in History are from Cambridge University and his Master's in Library Science is from Simmons College in Boston. Robin is the Library liaison to the Government and Sport Studies/Exercise Science Departments.

Joan has three main areas of responsibility. She works directly with the First-Year Program to provide research instruction for First Year students in their fall semester colleges and in their spring semester First-Year Seminars. She has responsibilities in the Munn WORD Studio, offering workshops to student tutors and mentors, as well as assisting faculty interested in integrating research into their pedagogy and syllabi. In the library, Joan provides library instruction sections for academic courses, organizes and offers seminars to librarians about the First-Year Program as well as research across the curriculum, provides reference services and has collection development responsibilities in various disciplines.
Joan has a B.S. in biology from the City College of New York, an M.A. in biology from Stanford University, and a Masters in Library Science from SUNY Albany. Joan has been elected to Faculty Council for a number of terms and was the 2002 recipient of the Louis and Frances Maslow Award, as well as being selected by the student members of ODK, the national leadership honor society, for membership in 2002.
Joan is the Library liaison to the Religious Studies and Environmental Studies Departments and to the Canadian Studies, Film Studies, and Gender Studies Programs.

Mark is responsible for the Library's rare books and manuscript collections. Mark has a B.A. in English Literature from Hamilton College and a Master's in Library Science from Columbia University. Mark has co-taught a course on the History of Printing and is also a printer/publisher of texts new and old at his press - Caliban Press. Eric is responsible for services and collections at the Launders Science Library. He is also one of the Library's leading resource persons for GIS and has been very active in the University's Integrated Science Education Initiative (ISEI). He received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from St. Lawrence University and a Master's in Library Science from Simmons College. Eric is the Library liaison for the Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics, Physics, and Psychology Departments; as well as the History of Science Program.Fax Numbers
