Interlibrary Loan: General Information
ODYsseus, SLU Libraries' catalog is the database of the print and electronic collections of the SLU Libraries. Interlibrary loan services are available for St. Lawrence University students and faculty, as well as members of the community who have a borrower's card. You may also may want to check local and other library catalogs.
Requesting Books and other Materials
- First, Connect NY a catalog of 12 New York academic libraries, make direct requests for books in Connect NY with 2-4 day delivery.
- If the title you want is not in Connect NY, use ILLiad to request books.
Requesting Articles
- First, Use our Journal Finder to see if the journal with your article is part of our print or electronic collections.
- To request articles we don't have use ILLiad.
Center for Research Libraries
- The Center for Research Libraries is a major repository for primary source material, and since SLU is a member institution we can use their ILL services. Use ILLiad to make requests for materials you've found in CRL, and plese note it's a CRL item in the Notes box. Use the Free Text request for microfilm materials.
