The Adopt-a-Neighbor program needs volunteers to serve
as companions/friends to Canton senior neighbors. These
seniors are often lonely and unable to perform small tasks
for themselves. Volunteers are asked to visit these neighbors
at regular intervals and perform small duties such as climbing
a ladder, lifting heavy objects, possibly running errands,
and being a friend!
Minimum time requirement = 1 hour per week. If volunteers
do not have transportation, every effort will be made to
connect them with neighbors within walking distance.
