Individualized Attention
Susie
works with the most updated recommendations from the Centers for Disease
Control for travel to all areas of the world.
She has been especially involved with the Kenya Program and
is responsible for preparing two groups each year for travel to Kenya.
She
will personalize each traveler’s immunization schedule to best
fit their individual needs and time constraints.
With the assistance of the Health Center nurse practitioners, she can provide the traveler with prescriptions
for malaria prophylaxis after determining which drug is most appropriate
for them depending upon their travel destination and individual health
history.
Ms.
Liberty can also provide a wide variety of information on various
diseases and health care issues that may be encountered while visiting
foreign countries, focusing on prevention and overall well being of
the traveler, both during and after their stay abroad.
