Beginning in Fall 2000, Global Studies joined the St. Lawrence curriculum as a major department, with a goal of teaching students to The Global Studies Building

analyze comparatively the impact of global processes on specific phenomena connected with, across and between geographical areas. Headquartered in 82 Park Street (see photo at left), Global Studies is a stand-alone, interdisciplinary department with its own faculty and core courses. Study-abroad programs and issues of diversity are also incorporated.
