All the SLU programs abroad are open to students from any major as long as they have a solid academic record and can show appropriate preparation (prerequisites, etc.). Many economics majors use a semester off-campus to develop an academic interest other than economics, and that is fine. We think some of the programs, however, may complement and extend the economics major on campus in particularly good ways, and so we draw your attention to them. Please check out all SLU programs in more detail on the Center for International and Intercultural Studies (CIIS) website: http://www.stlawu.edu/ciis. Please meet with your economics advisor and/or go to the CIIS office in Carnegie Hall to discuss your options.
