Deciphering Teaching Evaluations
Facilitators in this workshop will offer their thoughts and advice on how to best read and interpret teaching evaluations. Some of the questions that will be addressed are:
What are the markers of good teaching evaluations?
What are some red flags to watch out for?
How should you think about your teaching evaluations over time?
How should faculty interpret particular code words such as "disorganized," "too fast" or "tangents"?
How might faculty use student feedback to adjust their teaching?
