  • May 17: St. Lawrence University senior Jake Fredericks locked up a trip to the NCAA Division III Championships and improved his own St. Lawrence record with a third place finish in the 110 hurdles at the ECAC Championships in Springfield, MA on Friday.

  • May 16: St. Lawrence University sophomore Divya Biswal should move into the top ten nationally in the triple jump and senior Caroline Raue won the 3000 meter steeplechase in day one action at the ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Springfield College on Thursday.

  • May 15: St. Lawrence University sophomore Jack Whelan was one of 12 golfers named to the Division III PING All Region Team for the Northeast Region.

  • May 13: The St. Lawrence University men's rowing team came into form late in the season, and their impressive rowing continued at the 2013 ECAC Championships in Worcester, MA on Sunday.

  • May 13: The St. Lawrence University women's crew team closed out its 2013 season on Sunday, as they travelled to Worcester, MA for the 2013 ECAC Championships.

  • May 11: Brendan Murphy '02 is in his first year of coaching the FC Buffalo of the National Premier Soccer League. St. Lawrence players Andy Bednarsky and Ozzy Morales are suiting up for Coach Murphy this season. GOOD LUCK GUYS!

  • May 11: St. Lawrence University's 4x100 and 4x400 relays each came away winners at the Oneonta May Meet Saturday evening and both just missed making it inside the top 16 times for NCAA qualification as of Saturday.

  • May 11: St. Lawrence University's 4x400 relay trimmed nearly four seconds off the SLU record set a week ago and moved into potential NCAA Division III qualifying position at the Oneonta May Meet on Saturday evening.

  • May 10: St. Lawrence University sophomore pitcher Kyle Plimpton has earned Northeast All-Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Plimpton, the Liberty League Pitcher of the Year, earned Second Team honors, becoming the fifth St. Lawrence player to earn All-Region status and the first since Heather Tuttle in 2005.

  • May 10: Vassar College snapped a 6-6 tie with a run in the top of the seventh and tacked on an insurance run in the top of the ninth, ending St. Lawrence University's 2013 baseball season with a 8-6 win in an elimination game at the Liberty League tournament in Loudonville Friday morning.

  • May 10: St. Lawrence University's 2013-14 men's hockey schedule will include teams from the new National Collegiate Hockey Conference, the reconstituted Western Collegiate Hockey Association and a set of teams from Hockey East in addition to its regular Eastern College Athletic Conference schedule.

  • May 9: St. Lawrence University's baseball team will play in an elimination game against Vassar to start the day on Friday after sustaining a 8-0 loss to Rensselaer in the opening game of the 2013 Liberty League Baseball Championship being hosted by Union College in Loudonville, NY.

  • May 8: Six members of St. Lawrence University's 2013 baseball team were named to the Liberty League All Star team as selected by the league's coaches on Wednesday.

  • May 8: Center Kyle Essery will captain the 2013-14 edition of the St. Lawrence University men's hockey team with Jeremy Wick and Gunnar Hughes as assistants, Saint head coach Greg Carvel announced.

  • May 7: St. Lawrence University senior co-captains Brigid Hurley and Holly Noyes have earned Regional All-America honors for the 2013 season.

  • May 6: The St. Lawrence University women's crew team narrowly missed medaling at the 2013 New York State Championships in Whitney Point, NY this weekend. The Saints varsity 8+ finished fourth, only :02 seconds behind Marist for third, in the collegiate finals.

  • May 6: The St. Lawrence University men's crew team had an impressive outing at the 2013 New York State Championships in Whitney Point, NY this weekend. Despite a late spring and limited water time, the Saints' varsity 8+ won the petite final and the second varsity 8+ climbed two spots to finish fourth in the grand final.

  • May 5: St. Lawrence University's baseball team reached the 20-win mark for the second straight year and will be the third seed in the upcoming Liberty League tournament after a split in a regular season ending doubleheader at Clarkson on Sunday.

  • May 4: St. Lawrence University's riding team has its second straight Intercollegiate Horse Show Association national team championship, but this one it has to share with Zone 2 counterpart Skidmore College.

  • May 4:  The University of Rochester strung together three bunts, the last one a squeeze play, to score the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning for a 3-2 win over St. Lawrence University in the Liberty League softball championships at Southside Field.

  • May 4:  The #3 seeded St. Lawrence University women's tennis team battled against #2 Vassar College but would fall 5-1 to the Brewers in the Liberty League Tournament semifinal match on Saturday afternoon.  Vassar advances to the tournament finals tomorrow morning against #1 Skidmore at 10:00am.  Meanwhile, the Saints fall to 10-6 overall as their season comes to an end.  

  • May 4: Junior Joe Riley pitched a three-hit shutout for his seventh win of the year in game one and the Saint lineup roughed up Clarkson pitching for 19 runs on 21 hits in game two as the St. Lawrence University baseball team swept its arch-rival 6-0 and 19-6 in a Liberty League doubleheader at Tom Fay Field Saturday afternoon.

  • May 4: The St. Lawrence University women's lacrosse team took on nationally-ranked No. 18 Rensselaer for the 2013 Liberty League Championship on Saturday in Troy, NY. Though the Saints were able to keep pace early, the Engineers used a fast-paced offense and a brilliant performance by goaltender Allie Arnal en route to a 14-5 win and the conference's automatic NCAA Tournament bid.

  • May 4: Junior Hannah Kinsey won both sprints and Carly Stine set a NYSCTC meet record in winning the 400 hurdles and both were part of a Saint record-setting 4x400 relay as St. Lawrence University's women's outdoor track and field team finished second in the 2013 New York State Collegiate Track Conference Outdoor Championship at SLU's Merrick-Pinkard Track Complex on Saturday.

  • May 4: St. Lawrence University's men's outdoor track and field team had three individual champions and a relay win and jumped from fifth to third with a strong Saturday showing at the 2013 New York State Collegiate Track Conference Outdoor Championships at the Merrick-Pinkard Track and Field Complex.
