Financial Aid
Merit Scholarships

Each year, St. Lawrence awards tens of millions of dollars in financial aid. Some of this is based on your family’s financial need, and the remainder is based on the strength of your application.

When you apply to St. Lawrence, you are automatically considered for merit scholarships which range from $50,000 to $80,000, awarded over four years. These scholarships, the Sesquicentennial and the University Scholarship, are awarded based on your academic and co-curricular achievements, as well character and citizenship. Canadian students will also be considered for the Canadian Merit Scholarship of $80,000 awarded over four years.

St. Lawrence also offers three scholarships that you can apply for.

You can apply for each of these scholarships online, by mail, or by fax.

Please be sure to submit your essay(s) for the Community Service and/or Presidential Diversity Scholarships by the relevant admissions deadline: Early Decision – November 15 or January 15; Regular Decision - february 1st. Vilas Scholarship applicants should have their St. Lawrence application and Vilas Scholarship essay submitted by February 1.
